Any one soda blast professionally ? Would like to hear the downfalls of doing this procedure, as well as if anyone has experience in business and particualrly with disposal of waste and epa.

I have a guy come in and do my major blast jobs, I can give you a nuber if you need one. I really like the process, it is great to be able to leave the glass in and not have to take everything off the car. The soda will get into everything if you do not tape off well, but it washes out. It is much better to remove, IMO, than sand. Most sandblasters will not get near an engine with sand, but the soda is more forgiving & will disolve if it gets a little in the engine.
We lay down a big tarp & then pick up & scoop up the residue & toss it. It is basically the same method as far as the paint residue, that is approved for the paint residue from my thinner recycler.
The downfalls are the soda does blow around if you are doing it outside & you nead to wash it off. Also, it won't work very fast on some hard paints like Imron, but it does remove it. You need to be careful around flexible bumper covers with it, it will strip them, you just need to keep the media moving as not to gouge into the cover.
