My "new" 95 F-150 w/ the I-6/auto got a major tune up today as I've no history on the truck except oil changes.
The fuel filter is wedged b/t the tank & rail & seems to be impossible to get out w/o first removing the fittings. Am I missing something or do I need to disconnect & reconnect the fittings while it is wedged up in there? Just want to make sure there is not an easier way as it is a "tight" space to work!
You should be able to unbolt the bracket that holds the fuel filter from the outside of the frame rail and then drop it down to undo fittings and take off the bracket then replace. You may or may not need a special tool for the fuel filter. My current 95 does but my previous 95 did not.
