Little Help!!!

If you buy a good kit, it should have all the parts that you need in the package. Did you have a different question?

Little Help!!!

Couple of ways, with a relay under the hood that pulls power direct from the battery thru the relay to the lights, the switch on/in the dash will pull power from a switched source, can't leave them on without the truck being on. This set-up will give the best voltage and brightness to the lamps. If you have to have them switched to the low beams only, use a splice to get the power for the switch from the low beam circut, this way if only the parking lights or high beams are on, they will go out. Some states require this set-up. I'm in one of them of course, what I did is mount another switch almost under the dash and out of sight which switches the source of control from the low beams to a switched hot circut. This way if I want to run with the fog's and only parking lights during the day, I can flip the "hidden" switch and by-pass the low beam only operation. Place the switch in the low beam only position and I pass inspection. Also good for at night when you may need the high beams on top of the hill, but, when you drop into the valley and fog presents itself, they will fire back up automatically when switched from the high beams to the low's.

Little Help!!!

I have always done the toggle switch under the dash, ground to chassis, and hot (with appropriate fuse) to switch and then to the solonoid. Cheap & simple. Be sure to use electrical tape on back of toggle switch!
