It will not bolt right in, different bolt patterns, different engine families.
You can drop it off in front of my garage door, I'll take it off of your hands. Just let me know when you are coming by and I'll move my truck and unload it for you.

The 351M and 400 engines are not compatable with the 390 FE's however the 429 or 460's are. They make alot of conversion kits
for your rig to swap motors really easy. You just have to shop around.
[font color=red size=3]The FE engine family (360, 390, 410, 428) use their own bell housing pattern, they will NOT interchange with any other engine family. The 351M/400 DOES have the same bell housing pattern as the 429/460.
So the only way to get the 390 into your Bronco is to change the tranny along with the mounts, brackets, ect. The 429/460 would be easier because you could use the current tranny, but the mounts, brackets, ect would have to be changed too.;-)
could I take the bell housing for thr 390 and put it on the 351M? I just thought I'd ask...What other options do I have? I'm alittle poor white boy....the cheeper the better?
We see your question posed here often, and it was, "Will it bolt right in?" So either we were sturring up hate and discontent, or giving you a quick answer to your question. :-)
