Hey everybody, let's try and make it a goal every month to get the word out and get a new enthusiast on the boards for the Ohio Chapter every month. Maybe we could make a contest out of it or something. I've got a guy from work involved this week and maybe he'll be more active when he figures out how to dismantle his pop up blocker. His user name is Archer54, a good guy with a good big Ford truck, make him feel welcomed and lets get some new members.
im kinda new, lol. I live a few houses down from Ray and across the street. He told me about this site and I like the site a lot. The people on here have been helpful.
Well does just being a resident of Ohio qualify to be a member of the chapter or is there more to it. I live in Greenville about 45 min north of Dayton. Bill
Hi ***** and welcome to the chapter, any one and everyone is welcomed here.
I'm game for anything to breath some life back into this chapter, heck even if we would just starting posting triva or anything on your mind would be of help.
Hi guys. Been kinda AWOL lately. Summer time does that to me. Always on the run.
Sure would be great IF we could actually have some kind of get together. Kinda rough since we could live up to 300+ miles apart....and the price of gas doesn't make for road trips anymore. That's the main reason I haven't been too involved with any of even my local stuff. Shoot, both my hot rods have been doing ALOT of sitting in the garage this year.
Sorry it's been a while guys. My life's been a roller coaster lately, there has been more ups than downs though so it's not all that bad.
I just think that there are a lot of Ford trucks out there on the roads today and many of the people that own them aren't aware of this website. I've visited a lot of sites of many different interests and every time I log onto a pc the first site I visit is this one. I just know that the topics will be informative or entertaining at least. The people involved are mature no matter what their age, for the most part anyway. You'll always get a couple every now and then that needs to be reminded of where the door is, but the users, leaders and administrators are quick to work together and either set them straight or send them away. Some people have had bad experiences with websites and are a little shy perhaps of maybe just intimidated by the pc era. I believe that once they've visited the site they'd open up and realize what a great asset we Ford enthusiasts have here. I've had a lot of help, gave a lot of help, and enjoyed the entertaing threads and the chats. Let's keep getting the word out about the website and the Ohio forum and see where it takes us. The Ford swap meet is coming up in a couple of months, end of November. It's in Columbus, anybody have any plans for attending? Maybe we can get a couple of people together and hand out flyers or bumper stickers or something.
Hey again. Wow! My life has changed. I've got a new job, unfortunatly I work weekends. I may still be able to make the swap meet but I'd be getting there in the late evening. I got a new truck, it's a '99 F-150 Sport 4x4 ext. cab. Red with gray int. and a 4.6. I actually got it for my new wife. Yeah, I got married finally. I don't think you should get married until you're at least 30 so I missed that by five months. It's not too bad though.
Mikey, I still need a bottle of Scotch Ale for my collection. It's all that I'm missing. Can't seem to buy in in OH10. What gives? PM me maybe we'll take a trip.
