This is to let you all know where Tom has been. I PM'd him a couple of times lately to see where he's been and all, and it's not good.

He PM'd me back and asked to let you all know...

Tom had a bad motorcycle wreck and broke MANY facials bones as well as hurt is neck, back, arms, etc... He's been in ICU for a while, and he can't remember the last month and a half of his life. I told him I was glad he was going to be OK, but it's no doubt been a very difficult time for him. His wreck was at the end of November of '04, and he's just now getting back on his feet. If you guys know of anything that will help his situation out, I guess post it here or something. Otherwise we need to keep him in our prayers.

I half jokingly mentioned sending him $1.00/person for every member here to help his situation out...we all know money makes the world go 'round, so if you want to, just let me know.

I emailed him at work right after it happened, and his auto-reply said he'd be out of office for a long time recovering from a bad accident.

I never really disclosed it because I wasn't sure if it was appropriate, i didnt know if he wanted people to know. I never knew the details, i.e. motorcycle and whatnot. I only knew he was in a wreck of some sort.

I sent off my stock intake for him, if any of you remember his ordeal with sucking in water and how bad he wanted to make it through that mud hole. I emailed him to see if he rec'd it, and that's when i got the reply.

Anyhow, i'm sure i speak for many when i say that I hope he gets well soon.

 

oh ****! damn i hope he heals up fast
