Gas Tank
Does anyone know of a gas tank that will fit between the frame rails of a '76 F-250 4x4 Highboy? I am replacing the cab and need to convert the tank to the frame. If anyone knows of a sending unit that will work with a homemade tank that would work also.

Gas Tank
I did this on my highboy. I used the rear tank off of a 76 super camper special.It is a big plastic tank with a metal shield that holds it in.Just had to weld an angle iron across the frame rails to bolt the front to, the rear bolted to the rear crossmember.Pretty much just a bolt on deal.

Gas Tank
My 75 F-250 4x4 Hi Boy has the gas filler door on the box for a rear tank along with the one behind the seat but the one between the frame rails is gone the hoses are still running down from the filler but no tank and no switch in the truck so maybe it isnt the orignal box on the truck i dont know
