Howdy,
I've got a '73 390. I just did the valves and I noticed that while putting it back together the flange that the doughnut fits around on one side is broken. So I decided to take out the single exhaust and go dual. this sounded more fun than taking it to a muffler shop. the Questions: Do I need a cross-over pipe? And where do I find another flange? the local big name discount shops don't seem to know either.
Any help would be appritiated.
thanks-MikeD.
gee? where do you live? I have an FE exhaust crossover pipe in my back yard that I got out of a junkyard truck. I ended up not using it and probably never will. I live in Seattle... take it away
about as far as you can get. Miami. I tried some of the archives looking for the answer to the broken flange thing, but not the cross over pipe. I'll do that now. thanks for the reply
