i'm new to the whole diesel thing. i just bought a 05 f-250 6.0, and have a hypertech programmer for it. my question is about air flow. is it worth buying an aftermarket air intake and exhaust? is mileage goin to be better or worse? does it hurt your warranty? i've used k&n filters in the past, but are green and airaid brands just the same with a different name? The stock filter will flow as good or better. Save your money and buy some exhaust. My 2 cents

The stock Donaldson filter is an excellent air filter, and flows way more air than the 6.0 needs, even in performance applications. Not to mention the filters last for 30K. Don't worry about it - stick with what you've got.
