got a 6.6 liter monster that would be a perfect canidate for a supercharger but cant seem to find anythin related to putting one on this motor.....HELP! where can i find one.
A centrifigal (Procharger, Vortec, etc.) can be made to work, all you need is to fabricate a mounting bracket - lots of people do it for this type of blower, which is why they are becoming relatively common on older hot rods with all types of engines. Unfortunately, I have zero metal fabrication skills so I had to get a kit that included the mounting bracket...the mounting bracket is the main differnce among these blwoers - the blower head units are generally the same.
In other words, a P-1SC kit from ATI for a Chevy truck has the same head unit as a P1-SC kit for a Ford truck, the mounting bracket and piping are different.
The piping is easy.
Then you'd need a hat for your carb.
ahh alright, now what type of intake would i need? the motor is mildly built so it would take several lbs of boost....i was thingin of maybe a turbo.....or both haha, if i had a death wish for the motor hehe....thanx..
