Ty I have a bud that has 2 64 f250 4x4 trucks and loves them dearly! They both have 223s in them with 4 spd standard trannys. The great thing about these trucks is that they can be fitted with almost any motor tranny combination because of the seperate transfer case. As long as you can mount the motor tranny combo up to the frame a shaft to the transfer case then one to the front and one to the back and away you go. We have broken the rear shaft and limped home only on the front wheels! (I do suggest this practice). Also this set up was used in f 250s were all the way up to 1978 so parts are available!! The cab mounts are easily fixed if you can weld....or can afford to have someone do it for you. The rubber bushings on the front mounts of my 66 disappeared somewhere along the way and I replaced them with hockey pucks! (great white north here) Good luck with your resto and welcome to the site!!

Tyler I remember reading here that the floors are the same from 65-79 the only difference being in the doorsill area and rear of cab where it attatches to the rear wall.
