i have a 97 f150 thats about to drive me crazy,check engine light on and had it scaned and showed p1506 this has been going on since nov. last year have replaced ever senser on the thing and replaced the vacaum line going to the back of the intake what ever it is it causes the transmission to act up to. thanks for any help!
thanks for the replys, i have replaced the iac,maf,ecu,o2,speed control,and others that i can't think of.and after replaceing them it runs fine for a day or two and right back to the same thing bad gas milage trans. don't shift right.

i did have it scaned ,that's why i replaced all of these parts it was not all at one time this has been since nov., i would replace what ever the scan said.
You might want to check your pcv valve because the pcm is calibrated to a certain amount of flow around the iac and throttle body so that the iac valve duty cycle at idle is around 30% at idle, so I would look at things like your pcv valve being clogged, and if your throttle body has lots of gook around it and the butterfly or in the drilled holes, it will cause the pcm to drive the duty cycle up to about 45-50%, or more, so that it will idle properly. This code will usually only be set in the older obdII vehicles, also if you don't change your oil regularly it will help to clogg up your pcv system, seen it before, will see it again. Oh yeah, when you were throwing your wallet, and parts, at this thing did you have a helmet on incase it chunked something back?
