Classic rock.
Country.
A little bit of heavier rock stuff *sometimes*
Classical-my favorite era is the romantic era... if that means anything to you guys.
southern/country rock is good. skynyrd/charlie daniels.
I have some "new stuff" in me... i guess what would be classified as "whiney rock", but is really just better pop..ish stuff.
I like anything with good piano parts. Billy Joel and Elton John...
Anybody listen to Jazz? Art Tatum is an AMAZING pianist. But you gotta know your jazz, the "cool" miles davis "kind of blue" is what you want for your hot dinner date.
The "funk" herby Hancock "headhunters" album is another thing to roll with. look for the song "chameleon" by him
Classic Rock
New Rock (Crossfade, Thousand Foot Krutch, Theory of a Deadman, SOAD, Foo Fighters, Shinedown, etc etc.)
and occasionlly some rap
oh, and i hate country
"I'm from the country and I like it that way!" I listen to mostly country but occassionally I'll mix in something out of the ordinary to keep things interesting. I like a lot of the 70's, 80's and early 90's country. Beyond that it's getting to be a little too poppy for me. I have Kenny Rogers to Garth Brooks to Chris LeDoux in my collection.
im all about the country...ALOT of the oldies...Johnny Cash, Chris LeDoux, Johnny Horton, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, etc along with Big and Rich, Corb Lund Band, Van Zant (not sure its thats technically country)...of course my truck dont have a radio, so its the purr of the engine most of the time.
I'm more into punk and metal, but I like rock and sometimes alternative. I'm also a SOAD "fan", they're pretty sick live, I saw them in Quebec city aug '05...
cant spell crap with out rap rock and country, listen to rock mostly on the radio all day at work or country cd's only country stations around my parts constantly play keith urban kenny chesny tim mcgraw and rascal fagots so i cant even listen to country.
