Any of you guys have experience with color matched spray-in bedliner? I have a "Sceaming Yellow" '06 and was thinking about having a matching liner sprayed in. I know the stuff is available in a whole range of colors and I thought I'd do something different than the standard old black. Any thoughts?
Don't really follow colored liners, but tmk, they have vastly improved over the years. The red ones fade the most, although with the advanced UV protection they can put in the liner, I'd say go for it! Most companies also have a bed liner renew treatment, so when it does fade, you can apply it and the liner looks new again.
i would hate to see it if you spilled something that would possibly stain it. at least black hides stuff like that. if its going to be a showqueen then maybe a "pretty" yellow bed-liner would be in effect but if otherwise i'd stay with black!
No show queen here. I bought the truck specifically because I could haul a motor in the back and still be an economical DD. I was kinda affraid of the liner staining. Prolly' go with black then, and take the extra $200 and buy a tonneau...
Try Speedliner brand spray in bed liners http://www.speedliner.com/ they have like 12 colors, or some of the dealers can custom mix it for you. I've done yellow before, but the customer had to buy the yellow pigment from a auto paint store.
Really? That would make sense. I don't dig the bumble-bee look... Trucks are trucks. I didn't shed a tear when a bolt broke dropping a 472/Turbo 400 into the bed of my '250 from 3' up! I just want to get something down before I start doing damage to the Oh-So-Nice-Virgin-Bed.
I know at work we sell a liner called RHINO LINER. It seems to be good stuff, colour and all, and can withstand punishment. I'd check out a couple of different products though, and be sure that your buying what you want. But a yellow liner would deffinately be cool
if your at all a do it yourselfer like i try to be maybe, herculiner would be the way to go. i did this and it turned out good. its just like rhino liner but about $600 bucks less and i've had everything in the bed of mine!
