2004 Explorer ATF flush

Well just how does a shade tree guy go about draining and replacing the ATF on these machines w/o a fill tube dip stick?

It's got 28k and I just don't like going the 36k duration w/ ATF.
It's had the OEM FoMoCo ATF additive done by dealer but the shifting still SUCKS!!!! Of course I'm in it too deep to trade and can't convince my 5'3" wife she needs a Titan.. so I'm stuck and want to go w/ synthetic ATF.

Appreciate the help guys....C-man

You need the tool nut here or a home made thigamagig.
I also used a 4gallon pump system vs the hand pump.

Dropped the pan.
Installed a new filter.
Had to pump out and fill through that tool nut on the pan.
Purged out much of the old fluid through the cooler line into a 5 gal bucket and adding Amsoil with engine running.
Went though 18 qts of Amsoil ATF with trans and transfer case.
Can't check the fluid with a dip stick so I had to watch for fluid return drip out of the fill hole after removing pump line through that fill tool nut.Dripping shows the trans is full.
All in all pretty much of a pain in the *** without a dipstick..
Changed the fluid in transfer case, trans filter, gas filter along with the front and rear diff fluid to Amsoil Severe diff oil.
Next year I'll flush the brake lines,PS pump and drop the trans oil in the pan,add 6 or so qts of Amsoil to get a higher percentage than I have now.
Overkill?
Maybe but I'm a pre-maintence junkie.
