Id go winch, if youd like opinions...
I need more money too... I need a locker and a winch, but dont have money for either... unless someone wants to donate either of those or a set of 20" rims to me...
Please dear God tell me you meant for ag tires and not so you can "roll phat on dubs in da hood".
I still undecided on what winch I would want though.
I always go wheeling with people and plenty of strapes incase one of them gets stuck, and I don't think I'd want to go electric even though that would be the cheapest. Hydrolic would be nice, but I still have plenty of time to decide.
Thanks again guys.
if you do go electric id go mile marker, they are just as good and cheaper. but if you want hydro... you might want to look around locally for a used unit off of something else... Youcould get lucky at a junk yard and find one off of a tow truck and hten rebuild it.
Id mount it under the bed to help balance the truck.
Hey Dude,
I have a 1978 Bronco 4x4. I also run a 9" rear axle and I have a spool in it. To be honest with you if I had it to do over again I would buy a locker. My Bronco is in the dirt 90% of the time but sometimes it's nice to turn sharp in a tech section of mud. When I do sneak mine into town, that spool really shows itself then. The tires chirp away (could it be me layin onto the built 400 bigblock too much?) every corner and unless you floor it and spin the rear around, it's hard to turn. But...thats my 2cents lol.
