There is a new Cingular Wireless commercial with a song in it that I'd like to find out what the name of it is and maybe find a copy of the song...
I don't know if it's a real song or one they made for the commercial...but it sounds like I may of heard it before...so I'm thinking it might be a real song.
It's the commerical where the guy barely makes it to see his pregnant wife at the hospital, and I think the only lyrics to the song are "my sweet melissa"...before they get into their "cingular, more bars in more places" line...refering to the signal bars on your phone.
When I see the commercial again I will try to get more out of it, but that's all I've got.
Anyone able to identify it?
I've seen it like 2-3 times already so they've played it a lot so far and I'm sure somebody's seen it.

The Sweet Melissa he refers to is "Melissa" Allman Brothers Band....currently found on the Gold Album. Originally recorded a way back walla go.
Crossroads, seem to come and go, yeah.
The gypsy flies from coast to coast
Knowing many, loving none,
Bearing sorrow havin’ fun,
But back home he’ll always run To sweet melissa... mmm...
Freight train, each car looks the same, all the same.
And no one knows the gypsy’s name
No one hears his lonely sigh,
There are no blankets where he lies.
In all his deepest dreams the gypsy flies With sweet melissa... mmm...
Again the morning’s come,
Again he’s on the run,
Sunbeams shining through his hair,
Appearing not to have a care.
Well, pick up your gear and gypsy roll on, roll on.
Crossroads, will you ever let him go? (lord, lord)
Will you hide the dead man’s ghost,
Or will he lie, beneath the clay,
Or will his spirit roll away?
I think Mil1ion is referencing yet another commercial and he is correct. It is "The Weight" Have it CD in my truck at this very moment. Great tune that throws me way back to the "good 'ol days" Or what I remember of them anyway...
