What does everyone here use in their parts washers? The degreaser I use now doesn't really get the job done. I'd like to use the "Good Stuff", but I'm concerned about disposal of the used solvent as well as the possibility of replacing my pump every year, so just looking for some ideas. Thanks!
It looks as if we can consolidate a lot of information presented in this forum.
There are several discussions here that mention parts cleaning solutions and techniques, try the search function.
I have one solvent solution listed in a post I wrote: [link:www.ford-trucks.com/dcforum/DCForumID75/165.html|No or Low Cost Parts Cleaner] The solution uses 2 cups of Castrol Super Clean per gallon of kerosene. This is an extrememly powerful cleaner and is hard on hands so wear gloves. The strength can be varied for your application.
