shop manuals

I have been looking around a little bit for shop manuals. Does anyone know where and if I can still get the old style shop manuals from Ford? Or is there another shop manual out there that is similar?

Have you tried the Ford dealer? They gave me a telephone number for a place called Helms. They sell the official shop manuals for Ford and some other makes too. I don't know if they have your year or not. If they do, there is nothing better than the official factory manuals, but expect to pay. I had to pay 60.00
for the mechanical, 60.00 for the emission/electronics, 30.00 for the wiring/harness, and 10.00 for the original owners manual. This was for a 85 svo mustang.

There are lots of original factory shop manuals that show up on eBay. Prices aren't that bad either. Try the search feature for "shop" on eBay motors.

Look to the right side of theis page toward the bottom. It says 32-72 but they also have latter years now, if you want a CD rom1977 Ford F-100
400m/c6
280,000 miles
Stock on the outside
modified/rebuilt everything

You didn't mention what year your truck was, but I got a complete set for my '68 on separate ebay auctions for a little over $20.00. Instead of entering "shop" (you'll get hundreds of items in many categories) as a keyword, try using "19xx ford truck" or simply "xx ford truck."

Thanks for the tip Buzz. James didn’t give any specifics so I assumed he would have figured out how to fine-tune his search once he saw all that was there.

Sorry about not posting the year and truck. But it is a 78 Ford F-250. Also, thanks for your guys input. I'll check into each one ASAP!!..
