My 05 is stock. F250 CC with auto trans.
I get 10-12 city or highway. 6-8 towing 7K pound trailer going speed limit using cruise control.
I never use full throttle in normal driving, generally baby it.
Dealer has checked injectors, replaced exhaust sensor, did recall reflash.
Made no difference.
Good luck.....

How do you people get your Hwy. Miles vs. City Miles? I think I’m a fairly smart fellow, I drive on average 1,150 miles a week and 500 of those miles are on the Hwy and the rest are city. Now those Hwy miles and city miles are driven on a daily basis. So they can't be divided. What, unless you take 600 mile trips 20 times a year, does the Hwy miles tell you? What could those numbers possibly mean to any one? My stock 06 6.0 CC LB 4X4 averages 15.017 MPG. Driving 300 miles will not even come close to telling you your fuel mileage!!
Well am not sure there is a fair answer to your question Moby but will try to explain my way of figuring hwy and all around, some times we may drive around here for a couple of months and the longest drive we will make is 50 miles and some of that can be on I 10 or I 49 but the bulk of it will be in the town of Lafayette, I call that all around driving and it may take a couple tanks of Diesel. I keep a record of every tank in an Excel spread sheet and it will spit out the miles per tank and then miles per gallon. Next if we make a trip to Houston, Gulfport or Monroe I will fill up before we leave and when ever along the way and each of these tanks are entered in the program giving off the results the same as before. Now granted this is not an over all average but does give you a good idea of yur milage per tank. Now if you want a yearly or 10k mile average I can change the formula and give that to you too. But I beleive in the text this thread was started, what I answered will be correct. By the way how did you come up with the 15.047 mpg?

I also get 15-16 city and 19-29 Hwy. I've only got 4000 on my 06 so I'm anxious to see what it gets at 12k-15K...I doubt it will get much better, but I'm pleased.
My truck ('03, 6.0L Lariat w/crew cab, short bed, bone stock) has gotten between 16-19 mpg city empty, and 10-12 mpg highway pulling a 6K# TT. It's done this since I purchased it new at Sunrise Ford in Fontana, CA. It now has 63K miles and getting the same mileage. I recently posted that my mileage had dropped off, but it turned out that I was not topping off the tank completely because of the foam in the fuel. If I stand there and continue filling for about twenty minutes, I can get consistent results on my calcs.
I have the Fx4 and 3.73 in that truck, stock except for a leveling kit installed, and with 3563 miles all of which is a mix of city-high on every tank, the best I can get is 13.7mpg.
