Brake Plumbing

Plumbing brakes for a CPP frame mount Booster and M/C disk on the front stock drums on the back. The question I have is do I need to add the residual check valves in the brake lines? The kit I have states it comes with a build 10 pound check valve built into the P valve however I've read many posts where they do install the check valves, 2 and 10 pound.

Thanks for the help.

What is the part number? Is it a 10 lb only? Or a 10 lb and a 2 lb?

You could call them to get a quicker answer

If you bought it as a kit, it came with a combination proportioning valve/residual check valve. Do both reservoir run into a rectangle shaped part under or right next to the master cylinder? If so, you got both. You should be good to go!

Yes, I bought it as a kit and it included the proportioning valve/residual check valve, and both reservoirs feed into the proportioning valve. thanks for the responses, I guess now I have to complete the plumbing and start putting this bad boy back together. Thanks FTE is great.
