Does anyone know a source for resistor wire? None of the local parts houses have it. The wire going to the temp. gauge just busted on me. TIA- Bill

Are you sure the wire going to the temp guage is a resistor wire? The only resistor wire I remember in the truck is for the ignition circuit. Of course I could be mistaken, not like that has never happened before

Yeah I think thats just like 16 awg wire not resistor wire like he said thats used in the ignition circuit

 

Oh, I thought it was resistor type, it looks the same as the ignition wire. (red w/ white stripe) Anyway, my ignition wire needs replacing too. Anyone know where to get it? Bill

I dunno about the resistor wire, but you can just buy a universal ballast resistor (mopar style) eww but these are better than resis tor wire anyway
