Odd, I feel the same way about this place. What's really funny is I've had a chance to meet many FTE'ers in person, and they are, to a person, a great group. Other than that- like was already posted, we're here.

You know Lenny, the doctor pulled me aside and told me before he told her but she knew. My wife was determined to make it through the ordeal but she told me just about a month before she died that she knew she wasn't going to make it. She was very religious and told me that God had a plan for her and she was ready to go when He wanted her.

It's tough on you...I know. It was on me but somehow when she finally passed, I felt a sense of relief. I was relieved in knowing that her pain and suffering were over.

I didn't know of this forum back then because I didn't even have internet service so I handled all this on my own with family and friends. It's great to have the support of people you don't even know, even if it's only through written word and a computer monitor. These guys and gals on this forum are the best!
Once again my friend, my prayers are with you and your family!

Lenny,

May God bless your wife, you and your family. The older I get the more I realize that this life is merely a passage to a better place. Doctors are often wrong, so don't lose hope and be strong. Ya'll are in my prayers. Take care.

Mike
