Tailshaft line to right side of radiator; bellhousing line to left side of radiator. Your lines must not be oem style, because they can only fit one way (the correct way).
Greg I'm glad you posted that, because when I read it yesterday, that is exactly what I was thinking. I bought two 5ft lines and it worked out that the drivers side went to the front and the passenger went to the rear..
I am of the opinion the it like the heater core doesn't matter which side is which. Can anyone offer anything to change my mind.

In the cool still quite of night you can hear chevies rusting away.
HiMe is right, there really is a correct way to installing these lines. The return line should be connected to the fitting that is farthest away from the water outlet, whether vertical or horizontal style radiator. It is thermally more efficient that way when you consider the direction of the hot fluid flowing through the cooler vs. the coolant flowing around it. Don't know how much of a difference it makes though. Add-on coolers should also be installed in the return line too. This is the line that goes to the back of the trans.
