Another is "anyone here" post. SE Wisc
Are there any other old Ford truck guys here from SE Wisconsin, the Milwaukee area? I'm into Bonus Built years, 1948-52 but like all old Fords. Anyone want to get together sometime to shoot the bull about our old trucks, or the pile of parts in the garage we like to call a truck. I have a shop in Germantown with a larger parking lot where we could meet. With the weather getting warmer, at least for Wisconsin, it's time to start thinking about spring.
I went to the first swapmeet yesterday in West Bend. I only bought door hinge pins from Old Time Auto Parts but it was a swapmeet. To paraphrase the famous bumper sticker, "A bad day at a swapmeet is better than a good day at work".

I'm in very south central WI. I'd be up for some sort of GTG, going to be moving in the next few weeks. But after that I should have some time. I usually stick with 80-86 trucks, but I do have a really rusty '48 F3 I'd like to get on the road some day.

When it gets nicer we could host a gathering here at the shop. Pretty central to most. Plenty of shop space to sit and bs.
Prefer the 73-79s and 66-77 broncos here. Although almost any older ford has passed thru the shop at some point.

sounds good as the weather gets nicer we will plan that. shops pretty full on the heated side with the 2 early broncos and then a cyclone almost ready to paint. THe first offroad trip is less than a month away and still trying to get a few things done. Got the green beast twin sticked today so thats done atleast. Got new harnesses mounted and the 38s mounted on little narrower rims. Rons got his eb almost done. Back from painting of the cage and body. So things have been busy around here.

a get together would be a great idea! us Ford guys are kinda like the vets you meet at the local VFW, we always have a story
Let us know when and where and I would gladly chip in a few bucks to meet all you guys, have a couple beers and brats, and BS for an afternoon, and Mitch, if you are nice, I might even let you ride in my truck to it!

haha. i supose i should have read bobj49f2 post, i just read the title and didnt know it was about a party. but im still in!!! id bring some soda<errr not 21 can buy beer> and some hotdogs or somthing like that. but if you set somthing up set it up some time after my 18th!!! because thats when i get my drivers license then i drive my 79 f-250 there. {or push pull drag somthing}

It will probaly be in April. Let me check a few dates and post up a couple of weekend as possiblities. Trying to plan a weekend to the Badlands Offroad and then spring car show weekend in April too.
