The past two days now I have noticed that when I am driving and I let my foot off the gas something starts grinding pretty loud. It only does it when I am going around 20mph and lower. To me it sounds like my gear box has absolutely no oil in it. Can you help??

Have you checked the fluid levels everywhere? If all is good then you're going to need to get all four wheels off the ground so they will spin. Run the motor in gear and get under the truck and start listening. A long screwdriver with the handle pressed against your ear makes an exellent stethescope. You can pinpoint the offending bearing very easily.
sorry, not gear box but front differential!! That is just what it sounds like but I don't know why it would just suddenly start happening because I know that there is no leak.

That depends. If you are in 4X4 then yes it's a consideration. If you are not using 4X4, then the front driveline is not rotating and you need to look at the front wheel bearings. Those big tires will beat up the front end a lot faster than someone with stock sized tires.
Well when I went home yesterday it didn't make the noise at all. I am thinking maybe it has to do with how cold it is outside or maybe I did pick up a stone. I will check it out when I get off work today. Can wheel bearings go out all of a sudden or is it gradual?
I 've never had a wheel bearing go out all at once like a light bulb ... but I dont know what you've been doing with the truck. Also, they dont heal and then go bad again ... once they go , they be gone.
