0-60 in 10?

Is it possible to get a 6.9 in an F-250 to launch to 60 in 10 seconds? Just curious. With the IP cranked a bit and the turbo, I can now do 0-60 in 18 seconds....Sizzling performance I know

You are asking a lot for a 7000 pound plus vehicle.
Plus the transmission was not exactly made for speed shifting.

Automatics are better at this than manuals are, but that is the only thng the automatic is good for.

When I want to drag race, I break out the punched out 900 Kawasaki drag bike I have.
Much faster and cheaper to operate as well.

^ How so? Probably advanced injectors, advanced pump, propane water methanol injection? That it? Assuming turbo is there and a 3"+ exhaust?

so, you can't get the idle speed adjusted, and your cold idle doesn't work, but your going to build a hotrod 6.9?

cool.

I was simply questioning. I was curious. Nothing wrong with that, I hope, is there? BTW I got the idle speed adjusted to what is a bit better, and have the cold idle on a switch if I forgot to mention that...I will post a clip of what it sounds like now...

A turbo is better, easier and cheaper.
Look in that article and see how much boost he is running at what RPM.
I am hitting 16 PSI at about 2600 RPM with my ATS now.
