EnviroCon, My drl module # F6SZ-13B218-AA This is the right #. I triple checked before purchase. But a different # is on module itself # F6AJ-19E522-AA. I questioned the different part# with co. I purchased from. They talked with Ford rep. # on mudule is an engineering #. Module is potted (sealed) w/ 6 wire harness w/ fused power wire and a handfull of butt splices and instructions. I thought of calling a Canadian dealer to see if they could order the mod and resis. but never did. Presently I'm at a standstill as far as install. So any info I will appreciate. Here is a link to place I bought from: http://fparts.autowebaccessories.com/ sorry about longwindedness
The number on the module sure looks like a part number. I tried to look it up on a Ford parts site and it didn't come up.

That's the same part wiingnut got. But when I type in the resistor P/N from the website I posted it says the resistor been replaced by a different part. And lists the part as daylight running lamps and components and is slightly cheaper than the DRL control module. But I have no idea what it contains. I'll try and call and find out sometime this week.

Papa that is the same module I have. Let us know how the install goes, wire colors etc. I was gonna install module, but before I could I broke my leg and have been laid up. Good luck
Wiingnut: Sorry to hear about the Leg. How did you break it? I will let you know how installing it goes . If it is too difficult to install I may have my dealer install it.
Playing Hockey. Being a 39 year old kid. When I was looking at the steering column, I noticed I could probaly tap into some of the wires used for my auto start and also using scotch locks might make the job a little easier.
I have the kit which is a module with 6 wires attached . Good instructions to install. Just got it yesterday, have not had time to install. Maybe next week.
Had an epiphany(and a great idea ) while driving around today...I think I have a REAL simple fix to make DRL for those of us with automatic head lights...If you put a piece of electricians's tape over the little light sensing globe on the dash...It'll always think it's nightime, and turn on the headlights...day or night!!
If somwone already thought of this...sorry,shoulda told me!!
Searched this thread and didn't see anything about it
I'll try it and report back if anyone's interested....Brian
I installed the Ford kit a couple of years ago on my '04 F350. The kit provides both automatic lights and daylight running lights on my truck. The instructions sound a little more straight forward than they are. It took me about 4 hours to install due to locating wires and figuring out how to secure the module. I seem to recall that there are two wires from the switch vs one wire with the module so had to guess. Kit has worked great. Good luck...
