I just installed my chip and I've initially mounted it under the dash, I don't like that at all. I am going to mount it proudly in plain view, right on the dash just to the left of steering wheel. I wanted to put it somewhere clever without drilling the dash, but this seems like a good time for a hole! Besides, It's still fairly inconspicuous there.

Saw that but the part I was having trouble with was the url address. Dumb Question: Is there a site to upload pics where you can direct to to get them?

There are sites you can store pics on for free with basic membership like webshots.com or you can get a premium membership for a few bucks a month. I don't know much about it though. Your internet provider may offer free web space also. You can upload your images to your gallery right here on FTE. Once you do, go to your gallery (like you would look at another members, not through the user cp) find the pic you want to post, then open it in a separate window and copy the url. You then paste the url in your post, highlight it and click the image icon. Sounds harder then it is. There may be an easier way, that's what I found works. Good luck.

The other way is to do go through the User CP, go to edit gallery, then find the picture you want to post. There are 3 links below it. Click the forum codes link, the copy the text from the top text box and paste it right into the post reply.

I thought there was a better way! I was having a hard time when I first posted pics and never went back to figure it out.

No. They are one in the same. Jody and Diane Tipton own and operate the company known as DP Tuner. If you call the phone number listed on the DP Tuner Website (www.dp-tuner.com), you'll either get Jody or Diane answering the phone. I've spoken with both of them, and both are very pleasant and good to work with. Highly, highly reccomended!!

yes, i use www.photobucket.com

they have a free site, that allows you to upload a certain amount of pics (i believe 150). i upgraded and became a paid member, i have 480 some pictures on there. alot of them are pictures of my truck and stuff that go along with it. plus many pics of things before my truck. it is a great site, well laid out and easy to use. you upload the pics, and you have a sepcial URL for each picture. when in conversation with someone, you can give them a link to see a pic, rather than having to connect with them (AOL IM) and send the pic. alot easier. plus you can just put the [IMG] hang tags around the URL and have a directlinked picture in the posts. all mine are that way.
