check engine light

I have a 96 psd and i was driving it today and the check engine light come on and the truck started to miss like an injector was messed up I had no power and i berley made it home At one piont the light went off and it was running fine but now it is messins up again. If you have any ideas please let me know.

If you find out what it is let me know my 97 is doing same thing and it donent leave a code it is more prone to do it before it warms up then when real warm butit sometimes does warm if i dont down shift and lug a little.

Pull your Valve Covers off and check for burnt wiring on the harness, also look at the pins on the valve covers connectors for burnt pins.
