chrome wheels

what is anyone using to keep chrome wheels from rusting? i have some that i cleaned up with steel wool, just wondering if i can protect them with something to keep them from rusting again. i dont want to paint them with clearcoat

I use chrome polish - I think it's made by turtle wax. Also have used regular car wax with success. The best thing is keeping them clean - mud and dirt will make them rust fast.
