78 gauge mounts??
any pics of gauge setups on your trucks?
i would like to run a small tach, tranny temp, oil pressure, water temp, volts
like to keep them up and out of the way. maybe pillar mount? and inset the rest into the dash? would like to keep stock dash.

I've got a column mounted tach. Just get a large hose clamp and use that to attach it to the column. You can use the mounting stand that comes with the tach.

I've got a tach on my column with an automatic. It's tight(touching the dash) but it fits. So I don't think mounting other gauges would be such a problem.
Ivan, it looks like you just left the auto column alone when you swiched to a floor shifter, is that right? I've been considering going to the floor shift too and I was wondering what to do with the column.

yeah I'van I've got a manual, but it's a 3 speed. the collar moves with the shifts, but I just mounted it as close to the dash as I could. I may still be wrong though, I can't think of the way the auto's look.
By the way, your cluster is pretty sweet lookin. I haven't seen a setup like that one outside of full on race vehicles.
