thanks ivan btw your truck is sweet i find your truck to be the root of of some of my ideas. real nice rig bud do you have any pics of your old dash set up?
My old dash was pretty much stock. I removed my vent above the headlight **** and put my tach in there and then screwed 3 gauge pods to my colum for oil pressure, temp and volts. Other than that I didn't touch the rest of it, just pulled it eventually and installed the new dash I built.
I've got a column mounted tach. Just get a large hose clamp and use that to attach it to the column. You can use the mounting stand that comes with the tach.

I'm assuming you have a manual tranny. What makes it tough is with an auto-tranny the portion of the column that you'd clamp it to rotates when you change gears. I couldn't mount my gauges to the column until I went to a B&M floor shifter.
I've got a tach on my column with an automatic. It's tight(touching the dash) but it fits. So I don't think mounting other gauges would be such a problem.
Ivan, it looks like you just left the auto column alone when you swiched to a floor shifter, is that right? I've been considering going to the floor shift too and I was wondering what to do with the column.
yeah I'van I've got a manual, but it's a 3 speed. the collar moves with the shifts, but I just mounted it as close to the dash as I could. I may still be wrong though, I can't think of the way the auto's look.
By the way, your cluster is pretty sweet lookin. I haven't seen a setup like that one outside of full on race vehicles.

I just pulled the pin that holds the shift handle in place so I could remove it. Other than that I left it alone. I was going to replace the whole column but it's a tilt column which is nice so I'll leave it for now. Eventually I'd like to replace it with a billet tilt column but $600+ dollars for a non-performance part is more than I care to spend right now.
