rear suspension
I want to go with something better than leaf springs in the rear when I restore my 77 what could i go with and keep it at stock height? could i go with a 4 link kit? I have seen ladder bars where the leaf springs go and coil springs are put in what would be my best option?Help, When its done it probibly wount see off road use anymore just on road.

I just want to get rid of the leaf springs and put in either a control arm or ladder bar that will bolt or be welded in where the leaf soring did in front and mount a coil spring on top of the ladder bar or on the inside of them with the control arm. I want the same height as the leaf springs but the better ride, handling. anybody know how to do this or ever done this i dont want to start and mess up.

Curtis, how about trailing arms and air bags? The ride could be as soft or as hard as you want. I have seeen air bags for sale for low riders, you may have to modify to keep the normal hieght. DF
