Bear the Autozone around here was good when they first opened a few years ago. Now they stink. NAPA here is okay and I know the owner so I get a good discount and lookup my own parts. Pepboys was also good here when new but like Autozone has gone downhill also. Another freind has a speed shop which come in handy also. He's one of 2 speed shops left in the area. Used to be maybe 20-30 before the mail order places came into play.
T glad to hear you found the parts. It's frustrating sometimes getting to the bottom of things parts wise for this old iron. Sealed Power that's it not Melling your right!
I've learned over the years that it isn't the store....it's the people working there. If the people are knowledgable and want to help then it's a great place. Unfortunately, with today's computer age, too many places are hiring ignorant people that could care less if you get helped or not.

That is so true. I remember in manys cases walking in a parts store....telling the guy behind the counter what you need.....and without even hesitating he'd grad the part off the shelf knowing most times exactly what you need, double check the part numbers if any doubt and ring it up.
