06 shakin when wide open

I have noticed on several different occassions that when I step down on her hard and when it revs high I experience a shaking. It does it when towing and just buy itself. Its only when your really on it and I want to say second gear. Its not the tires, it feels like the driveshaft, I know ford had some problems with the drive shafts a couple of years ago. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Troop ,remeber your actions are being recorded in the black box that the dealer can look at everytime they plug in their computer. lots of wot don't look good in their eyes!
Just a heads up on this for future reference.
Can you feel the vibration at any other speeds if so take it in let them chk it out.
is it in the wheel or seat of pants?

You have a problem. Mine is smooth right through to 5200 when she shifts up in T/H and WOT is there to use when you need it. These engines are governed but you will never get into that with the Auto trans.

If your truck is stock, they could care less if you go WOT all day long. Your warranty is
not going to be questioned so get that shake fixed and let that V10 rev.

Look I'm not going to debate this. If you use the truck for drag racing or abuse the vehicle in anyway that you drive it.be it wot or high rpm shifts ,power braking anything its all being recorded.
Back to channel of troops truck problem.

I am confused, just becuase when I get on the express way I put my foot into the throttle after she is warmed up or once in a while with no load scoot away from the light I am abusing my truck? I know you do not want to debate this but I have to call BS in this one. It is plain and simple not abuse it is using the vehicle for it intended purpose. When I had a 300 six that thing was at wot all time just to get it moving. If this truck cannot stand to be run full out once in a while I should have gotten a toyota I guess!

My truck is smooth 0 to 80 it is truck so it is not as smooth (I have the auto so it shots on its own) as the wifes TL. You should try to find out at causes it (what you can do to make the problem happen) and then have the dealer try to duplicate it.

I didn' buy a $38,000 truck to baby it I bought it to pull a maxed out dump trailer. a camper, a four place enclosed trailer, etc. it doesn' shake at high speeds it shakes when its in a lower gear reving out ie climbing hills towing, and flooring it well because I have a V-10. Speed is not the problem its only when really pushing it. once it shifts its fine. I guess I'll take it back again. The first time it was for the steering that didn't want to steer, they replaced the lower steering arm, it still does it I swear its the pump but they just say no its not but bring it in and we will take a look at it. which is fine but that doesn't help me when I need the truck. I'm sure you all experienced this.

OH, come on guys, it's a TRUCK. If you can't WOT it, then what's the point?

I'd love to be the first test case in court when I SUE the dealer that voids my warranty for that

I think Rich is in a "paranoid" phase ...

Well, in fairness, Ford wrote the computer program that determines what the RPM's are at any point in time. If there is any "abuse" due to WOT it would only be because Ford permits it.

Wow ! Art paranoid !!!!!!! No not me.
If you go back,I mentioned nothing about warranty,I only stated that driving actions are being recorded.

No one is saying you can't do this or that, just things are being recorded now in new trucks!

Troop hope you get your fixed.
Picked mine up today, its as smooth as can be throught out all rpms that I break my vehicles in at.
I'm out unless I can help you determine whats causing your problem
Later

I guess I have been abusing every frickin vehicle I have ever owned. I prefer to call it driving and a throttle is a throttle. It idles and it goes WOT. Believe it or not.

They can record it and they can blow it out their ***. It doesn't hurt your warranty one little bit.
