Ok since our tailgates are taller than they used to be. You cant put them down while hooked to a trailer with out hitting the trailer jack. Anyone know where to buy a draw tite longer than normal. Maybe 14 to 20 inches to solve this problem.
(You'll have to put the numbers in the search engine).
The tube mount jack can be removed and put in your truck, but it could be stolen. The Snap ring mount is permanet, but cannot be stolen. Both can fold out of the way, and both need to be welded on.

talk to a local trailer supply guy, he should have something on hand, be able to order it, or even make you a longer receiver hitch. their knowledge will outweigh the extra price you may have to pay.
Just my humble opinion, but I'd change the trailer jack before I'd add a longer draw bar. Just seems it'd be easier on the truck's suspension and towing capacity using the 'normal length' draw bar. Again, it's just me but I thought I'd share.
