Was at the auto show last weekend with my boy and saw a red 2007 Sport Trax up on a pedestal… the Ford rep stated that this will be available at end of March -- maybe early April, but the Ford website is very quiet… can't find much of anything except the same stuff that's been there for many months, so I'm suspicious that this may be a bit longer than April...
Anyone have any details as to pricing and build options?

The Ford reps at the auto show are nice people, but Dearborn instructs them to be very vague about new and/ or future product. The last thing they want is for a product to get delayed, then all these consumers at the dealers saying, "but THE GUY AT THE AUTO SHOW said..."
Our first one is being built next week, should be here by the middle of March. AND- there already rebates/ lease incentives on them!

Any place to go get a build profile... for as of Sunday, the Ford site is blank???

Ooops, I'd like to amend my last post. I was just at fordvehicles.com and they now have the 07 Sport Trac on their vehicle menu. On the opening page of the site, in the upper left, they have cars, trucks, suvs, etc listed. Put your cursor on the suv one and the menu drops down and they have 07 Sport Trac listed in there. Just click on that and it'll take you to page for the 07 ST.

1st ones delivered yesterday. I test drove one at Pleasantville Ford, Pleasantville, NY. They had a Limited and XLT. Both were 6 cyl. Really quiet and looked MUCH better than past models. Placed my order for a V8 XLT and expect 6 week delivery.

Have been a Ford fan since 1965 with the Mustang. Have had numerous trucks as well as cars over the years. Presently have a 05 Escape and ordered an 07 Sport Trac. Looks like a GREAT truck according to specs. Can't wait.
