Rear gear spline count?

Rear gear spline count?
Does anyone know the number of splines on the axles on 2003 Mountaineer, 3:55 gear and rear wheel drive? Ford has no idea. I would like to install power-trax unit. Thanks for any help. Carroll Allison

Call Ford SVT.They know, don't let them B.S. u it is 32 or 35 spline but u need all the ####s. Parts counter has a book with the spline count too. May need vin##. OR u can pull the axle and count your self. If you do this you need a black sharpy to mark were you start. It will be a odd number.

Its a 31 spline and im sure an ARB would fit nicely. Also the Powertrax no slip, and a new company called Aussie locker. I am waiting for the Aussie locker, because they are also making one for the front of our IFS setup. here is a link to their site: https://offroadlockers.com/suvs.html

Thanks for the info. Sure did hate to have to pull axle, do a count and then wait for the goods. Will check out the other products also. Thanks again. CA
