King Ranch is here
Fellow FTE members, the King Ranch ordered 12/6/05 came in today. I went to see it and it is one sharp truck. It has a V-10 in the Dark Copper with the 20" rims with goodyear ATS. This dealership rarely gets in a King Ranch and it really was an attention getter coming off the truck. I will pick it up tomorrow after work. On Thurs I will take pictures of it with my new digital camera and try to get them on line here. I already had the BSEG as I was walking into the dealer, can't imagine what it will be like when I drive it.
BTW, as I was looking in the cab with my feet on the ground my salesman opens the back door and steps up into the back and gets mud on the carpet. I said what are you doing, he said don't worry it will come out. I said look you go and get something and get it out now. I think he got pissed at me but I didn't give a hoot. I don't treat my vehicles like that and he sure as heck isn't going to.

Sounds like a nice rig! I'm still waiting for my F250 that I put on order 2 weeks ago. That salesman is lucky you didn't smack him upside the head! Look forward to seeing the pics!

Good to hear you got your truck dhawk, since im looking at the v10 im interested in your thoughts and comments on it first hand.
Did you have a diesel before or is this your first SuperDuty?
What gears did you go with?
What color interior did you get?

This is my first SD. Had a K1500 silverado before. Never had a diesel. I got the 410 gear as I will not be towing anything substantial. I got the Dark Copper. King Ranch only comes with beige carpet and the brown King Ranch Castano leather seats. Did not like the color when it first came out but it sure did look nice on it sitting on the lot yesterday. I hope to have pictures downloaded tomorrow.

Well I picked up the KR tonight and it is awesome. I do like the feel of the V10 but of course I am going to baby it for a while. But there is no doubt there are enough horses under the hood to get the job done. The King Ranch is one fine truck. I live in a small town so most of the 250"s even the nice ones are for work. This dealer has never sold a KR in a 250 or any Harleys so people in the dealership were going crazy over my truck. First light tomorrow I will take pictures and try to get them posted.

I got an 03 f250 4x4 last wednesday and I realy like it to, it's not a KR butt it's my 1st V10. This is the 4th V10 in our family and all are great.

Nice looking truck. How is the V10 that is already broken in? I hope that tomorrow I can post pictures. I am not ot good with computers, but I will try.

I think it's great, Yes it's broken in and getting 11-13mpg so far. I've been on DirtBike forums for years and just this year figured out how to do pic's and avatars. Sounds like you've got one heck of a truck, have fun.

I just bought an 06 KR with the 6.0 turbo diesel. I only have 600 miles on her so far, but Wow! I really like the truck. Got the true blue with gold trim, 20" wheels. Stunning is what most say. I traded in a 2003 sierra with duramax diesel. 20k miles and nothing but trouble, so back to Fords I went. Hoping to have as good of luck with this rig as I am having with my 1991 tbird I bought new. Still driving it every day to work, running great w/ 200k miles. No more chevies for me!

dhawk57 had mentioned that he was anxious to get his truck before a week or two vacation he had planned. As it worked out, he got the truck just before going on vacation. So, give him a couple days, he should show back up.....unless, of course, he is too busy driving around in his new King Ranch!!
