Go with a color match for the KR. Here is a picture of mine. Congrats on the truck!

When I talked to them on the phone they said they would remove all bolts except the one that hold the bed on. They said it is best to spray over them. I have thought about that and am going to have them take them out. I get sand for my beach area and use a flat shovel to remove from bed and I am sure sooner ao later I will chip the covering off the bolts if they are sprayed.

My bed is a short bed. The Linex delaer is about 50 miles away. I did not want some porter driving my truck that far so I am having it done next week on my way to Kentucky as I will be going right by the Linex dealer. They told me thye would need no more than 1 1/2 hour. Maybe a little more if I have them take off bed bolts.

I do like the V!0, but I am babying it quite a bit. I hear at 160 hours on the engine the computer turns all the horses loose and performance really improves.

No regrets so far.

The Linex dealer I am ging to will not do colors. says they fade and hard to match later if repairs needed. They will only do black. Yours looks beige in picture so I doubt you will have any fading problems with yours. Your matched bed looks great. Your truck really looks nice. I like your back light cover. By the way, I don't see a V10 or Powerstroke emblem on you KR, which is it.

Yes it is working, others have seen it, click on gallery, then click on my truck and the pictures should appear. 5 pictures so takes a few seconds to load. If that doesn't work give me your email address and I can email to you later this pm when I return.

Yeah, I had to go to a different dealer because only a couple will color match. It takes two days since they add things so it wont fade.

I put vinyl on my taillights so its really not a cover but more of a tint and its a V10 and I love it.

Truck Leveling

I must say that after reading many threads on leveling that I bought my truck with the understanding that I would have to level it when I got it. However, after having it a couple of weeks and seeing it parked in different places I can say that my truck is as level as can be. I think maybe it is because it has less weight up front with the V10 and I did not get the off road package or the camper package. Take a look at my gallery and you will see.

Great looking truck. I noticed that you don't have the diamond plate running boards. Is that a KR change for 2006?

I personally like yours better.

I went back to look at the pictures and I see what you mean. But it actually does have the diamond running board. Look at the 5th picture and you can see the reflection on the rocker panel. In fact the owner of the dealership said its the first year he has seen that the diamond pattern was as wide as it is on mine. I am not sure what prior years looked like.
