A few months ago I experienced my no.7 plug popping out of its socket and breaking the coil pack set screw. When I looked at the plug I found no evidence on the threads of the plug that it was forecebly removed from service. I purchased a new plug and coil and everything screwed back in as it should.
I just experienced the issue again with the same plug and almost in the EXACT location that it happened last time ( within one mile on my way to work ). I can only assume I have a serious issue on my hands here but has anyone else experienced it and what was the solution?
TIA
I searched the forums again and found the thread on the plug issue. I tried to do that first but it didnt search so well I guess. Sry for posting a question that been answered already.
Thought I would give an update to my situation.. The repair shop was able to tap the plug with a helicoil for $362, no warranty on work since they considered it a patch job.. I was toying with idea of getting this and doing the rest of them.

Do not buy that kit. It is a POS. A buddy tried it, against my advise, and he ended up destroying the head because of the crap he bought. Once you get the kit in your hands, you realize just how bad it is.
