How much smoke is normal?

Test drove a 6.0 excursion with 35k miles on it and when I started it up it seemed like it blew a decent amount of blue smoke at startup. I just wanted to know if this is normal in 20* weather w/o block heater plugged in.

Mine always puffs a bit of blue smoke at start-up in the wintertime with the winter fuel. Not very much in summertime.
