The two lift pump mounting bolts on my 93 7.3 Jasper rebuild keep coming loose. Makes a big oily mess at the front of my engine. I replaced the bolts with studs and used permatex on the gasket. Jasper paid to replace the gasket and loctite the bolts twice. When I went to replace the bolts with studs there was no trace of loctite (surprise)! Any one have a solution. When the lift pump and gasket were replaced I cleaned the block and loctite it still came loose.

 

I wouldnt be surprised that the holes are not round any more. you may have to figure out how to install heli coils to make new holes. or if you're already using studs and [B][I]IF there is no problem with pump removal and install, use a liquid weld to the studs and insert them forever.
