I'm about to completly redo my steering, and I was wondering if the 92-96s have a rag joint and if so, where is it located? I've looked at the steering shaft going down to the steering box, and I don't see it unless it's under a rubber sleeve.
I have an 89 and I just replaced my lower steering shaft with one from broncograveyard.com, took about 45 min (a lot of talking) and I see a big difference in my steering play. The rag joint is at the base of the shaft under a dust cover that attaches to your gear box.
Yes you have a rag joint on the 92-96 model, and it is under the dust cover.......but I would like to have a part number for the one from JBG........tcb89, do you know the PN off hand....and can you please tell me what you think of the one from Jeff's?
ok the part # 32850 on broncograveyard.com says its for 87-91, I didn't see one listed for 92-96 so I would suggest going with a Borgenson, you can go to their web site and order it there, it's about 100.00 more than what I paid at broncograveyard.com but it's also a much better product.
