I believe it's because they share a ground. I'm pretty sure I remember reading that if you move one of them the problem should go away.

OK, Thanks! So, then, we are now thinking that bad ground(s) were the cause originally and NOT the CPS units themselves??

From what has been said here many times it could be either CPS, bad ground(s) or a little of both.
