2004 Ford F-150 Super Crew 5.4L XLT

I am fairly new to owning a pickup truck. I want to begin to customize my truck soon and I have a few questions hopefully someone will be able to answer.

1) What advantages and disadvantages would I have adding dual exhaust to my truck? more horsepower? better gas mileage?

2) If I add taller tires, could I expect lower gas mileage? is the speedometer affected? if so, can your speedometer be calibrated to a particular tire size?

3) I want to add a ranch hand grill guard and a headache to my truck. Do I need to get any kind of lift done to my truck to maintain the height of the front or back? I would rather the truck set the same height as it originally does.

in answer to your questions,

1. better milage and hp increase, since this is like letting more air inot your lungs and letting you breathe well.

2. yes, lower mpg, the speedometer will probably need to be recalibrated I think.

3. I wouldnt think you'd need to do anything besides mount em.
