Purchased my truck last month and got 18 mpg stock. Dropped $1600 on AFE "upgrades" all in an effort to increase mpg. I now average 16 mpg and I drive very conservative trying to get the mpg up. Have tried all chip settings with no improvement. My goal was to break 20 mpg, but, instead I went backwards.

I wish I was close you guys at 20mpg. I get 16.5 if I am lucky with my foot our of it. I have the bigger intake, exhaust, superchip flip chip but nothing seems to get it over 16.5. I run stanadyne in every tank and still nothing. Seems that a 4x4 automatic crew cab with 295/75/16's should get better than that on hand calculation. Curious if injectors are going bad so I am getting a bad spray pattern or something. Anyone have any luck with the air dog or the return line mods to rid the fuel of air? Did it help mpg?

thats why i think if its not broken, i shouldnt try to fix it
