Dipstick Question?
Late last year, I scored a very nice set of ram's horn manifolds for the 312 that will go in my F-350 wrecker project. I believe that I have read here that the dipstick would have to be changed and/or modified. Input, please...

the mid-block, right side version of the yblock dipstick comes up between the two center exhaust outlets. There should also be a plug for a dipstick towards the front of the block near the timing gear cover. Your choice.
The hassle with the mid block dipstick is that it has to go in after the installation of the manifold.
are you selling the stock exhaust that you are removing?

A set of the OEM manifolds will be available, since I have the set off the 312 and still have the set on the 272 which is still in the truck
