Your Ex should be just like the F series. Instalation time is 6-10 hours or more. Banks or Borla would be my choice. Both come with a new Y pipe. The only problem you may run into is broken studs. It can be done and it is worth it.

I have a 2003 V10 Suepr Duty. I have the Banks headers. They are a 6-10 hour install with no stud issues. I like the way the engine runs with them. The best way to do the job is to remove the fender liners.

The best thing about the headers is how it made the exhaust not more deep. The worst thing is with stainless headers, they are thin so you hear exhaust pulses. It kinds sounds like a exhaust leak at crusing speeds when you drice buy a fence or a car and the sounds bouces off and back to you.
