lubing chassis

Dumb question! Do you lube the chassis/driveline on a 1999 F250LD? I have not found any zerks on the universal joint or ball joints.

Lubing the chassis is always a good idea. Having no zerks, just means that you will have to use a needle to get the grease into the joints. Have fun!

FORD saved $.49 by leaving 6 grease zerks off a $30,000. truck. When they wear out, you can get replacement ball joints and drive shaft universals that have grease zerks. Then grease them every other time you change the oil. You can try the needles in the mean time, it might help.
